About the event
The 58th sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SB 58) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will take place at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) in Bonn, Germany, from 5 to 15 June 2023.
This meeting is essentially a preparatory, halfway-to-COP meeting that happens at UNFCCC HQ in Bonn, Germany for two weeks in May or June every year. All of the countries will gather and negotiate on certain, more technical items, and continue conversations that did not finish at COP27.
There is a large and powerful youth movement in the UNFCCC space. They will be very active at this conference, both in-person as youth delegates, and virtually.
