YOUTH ADVANCING GENDER EQUALITY THROUGH CLIMATE ACTION

Climate action must be inclusive to be effective. Across Asia and the Pacific, young women and youth from vulnerable groups are breaking barriers and leading solutions that put equity at the centre of climate resilience. Explore the stories, tools, and campaigns that champion gender equality in climate action—ensuring that all identities are empowered to lead, thrive, and drive transformative change.

Each year, YECAP marks International Women’s Day by amplifying the stories of women climate leaders across Asia and the Pacific. Through digital campaigns, the platform highlights their activism, entrepreneurship, and community-driven efforts—showcasing how women are leading transformative climate solutions and inspiring more inclusive approaches to resilience and sustainability.

International Women's Day

On IDAHOBIT, YECAP stands in solidarity with youth from all walks of life and backgrounds across Asia and the Pacific who are shaping climate action from the frontlines. Through campaigns and storytelling, youth from diverse identities share their experiences and call for safe, inclusive spaces where everyone can lead in the fight for climate justice.
