Summary: On 23 February 2024 from 9:00-10:15 AM (GMT+7), this in-person workshop will take place both at Meeting Room G, UNCC, Bangkok and online (open to public).

 

Participants explored youth's vital role in driving a green economy transition, from engaging in green jobs to co-creating programs with stakeholders. They also discovered how stakeholders promote essential green, digital, and 21st-century skills for decent youth employment, and fostered public-private-youth partnerships for a sustainable future.

Summary: On 29 March 2023 from 5:15-6:30 PM (GMT+7), this in-person workshop took place at the United Nations Conference Centre Theatre, Ground Floor, United Nations ESCAP, Bangkok.

 

The side event facilitated conversations around the impacts of water scarcity and pollution on children, the role that 'child rights’ play in achieving SDG 6, and the experiences of child and youth human rights defenders in advocating for climate and environmental action, especially around access to clean and safe water.
